Main line stoppage. Cabled main line with spartan 100 and cleared at 50'. Ran video inspection of line and found that main sewer line is very much in bad shape. Needs to be replaced asap, this will continue to cause stoppages. Old cast iron line has cracks and bottom failure. Kitchen sink stoppage. Cable via kitchen sink drain. Pulled roof on cable head. Needs video inspection. Garbage disposal is jammed. Unjammed garbage disposal and is working ok. Leak in floor drains. Found 2nd floor drains accepting condensation on 2nd floor. One floor drain was leaking into the other. Unable to shut down air conditioning, had to purchase float operated pump and hoses to redirect condensation outside, to stop the water long enough to make repair assessment.
Jet an de-scale sanitary sewer line. Video inspect and locate all existing connections. Excavate through concrete expose 2' section of sanitary line. Install cure in place perma liner from stack to exit of building. Excavate floor drain and replace 2" trap. Concrete all areas of excavation. Broken main line. Ran cable 100 spartan to pop open main line found at 58' could not clear totally. Ran video inspection of line. Looks to be old cast iron very dirty and full of build up. Ran video locating to spot that looks to be broken by conduit.
Shower valve is broken inside wall and must be replaced. Install new two handle shower valve and access panel. Shower valve was broke inside hot side. Stoppage. Diagnosis found septic tank is full and possible drain field failure. Recommend schedule pump out of system and check up. Badger 5 insinkerator installed with dish hook up and electric supply with new ? ? 1/2 horse power. Ran diagnostic check on toilet and did not find anything in it. Opened tank and fill valve was improperly installed. Pulled water closet and cabled out 75' three times and cleared stoppage. Ran video inspection to verify line is clear and found that main sewer line is back pitched about 25' under slab leading back towards toilets. Performed location and marked beginning. Reset water closet and tested.
Replace 10' of black pvc pipe under home with pvc sch. 40 and put hangers on pipe for support. The old black pipe has a very big belly in the middle of it. We are going to cut that out and replace it . Dug up small area and cut out 1 1/2" pvc tee that was on 3/4" pvc line. Installed a new full port 3/4" brass ball valve. Tested and no leaks. Shut water down at meter outside. Replaced ball, seats, and springs on delta shower faucet. Turned water back on, tested, no leaks. Stoppage on shower drain. Cleared about 50 gals. Of water from shower area. Ran auger and cleared hair and debris from trap while the water was running. Plugged line and tested, drains great.
Replaced the 3/4" shut off valve for the hot water heater. When i put everything back together i noticed a small drip inside the wall. I opened up the wall and replaced another foot and a half of the pipe behind the hot water heater. I took a little extra time because it was directly behind the heater. Main line stoppage. Cabled through clean out at rear of home. Runs sub floor to front yard with city main at street. Cleared stoppage. Camera inspection revealed very heavy build up at approx. 30' and unable to penetrate with camera. Pull the toilet and cable the main line 75'. Camera the line to make sure there is nothing lodged in the line. Put the toilet back on with new wax ring and bolts. Replace waste arm for lav. Sink. Demo wall in order to get to 1 1/2" galvanized pipe and replace damage pipe with pvc.
Cable kitchen sink stoppage, install 1/2 hp w/d, and replace trap system for sinks. Stoppage at rotc pool area. Clear urinal blockage at rotc. Tested ok. Also clear blockage at pool area shower. Cleared urinal at computer center stoppages. Replace seats, stems, and stripped handle at vaughn center kitchen prep sink. Replace stem at leaking hand sink in pepin stadium. Install sanitary tees in existing drain lines rough in drain lines for two sinks. Cut off supplies hot/cold sinks install emergency stops for sinks and toilets. Hook up supply and drain lines to sinks. Install 6 toilets and valves. Shut off valve ladies restroom seized main supply emergency shutoff - shut down water main to jc penny & drained entire store. Removed 2.5 gate valve 20' in air. Installed a new ball valve. Cabled kitchen waste approx. 30' with spartan hand gun.
Main line stoppage. Ran 50' of 7/8" cable through clean out on side of house towards house. Cleared stoppage. Ran camera both ways to confirm line is clear. Leak in copper line in the bedroom ceiling. Repaired 3/4" pipe in bedroom with three connections. Installed a 3/4" brass shut off ball valve outside on water main. Installed customer supplied pop up and tubular trap for lavatory.
Jetted from first man hole to lift station and pumped. Blockage would not allow sewage to reach lift station. Continued to pump man hole while jetting from lift station to man hole. Finally cleared line - water now reaches lift station from man hole. Cameraed main line from man hole to lift station. Pipe has a break at approx. 52'. Was unable to camera entire line due to infiltration. Cable via roof vent in order to clear kitchen drain. Operating ok. Shower drain is backing up. Cable shower via floor drain in order to clear drain. Drain was cleared, pulled back ball of hair.
Ran 40 feet of 7/8 cable thru cleanout beside driveway/sidewalk towards house pulled roots. Ran camera seen roots at 27'. Ran 40' of 7/8 cable thru cleanout in front of house towards sidewalk, pulled roots. Ran camera and seen backfall at 29' which is undersidewalk. Broken sewer is on city side under sidewalk. Slab leak in building 5703. Leak in slab, used chipping hammer to expose, dug out soil and cut out bad section of pipe. Replaced 3/4" copper to shut off valve. Replace with new pro-press ball valve. Remove some siding from building to expose. Shut down main at street. Cover hole in slab with hydraulic cement.
Jetted entire house, three roof vents, also from laundry room. Appears to be grease buildup. Total of 4 lines jetted. If any problem bring camera. Removed old leaking 1/2" copper gale valve and solvent weld angle stop and old, bad, oxidized copper fittings with pipe and replaced with new cpvc 1/2" ball valve and quarter turn angle stop. Cabled main line stoppage with mytana m661 3/8 " cable machine through water closet flange to clear solid waste stoppage. Repair 3/4" pvc main water service with telescopic fitting under ground. Closet auger upstairs guest bath. Kitchen faucet has no hot water and is leaking.
Hot water heater leaking from the top. Replaced hot water heater with a new one. Replaced shut off (ball valve) to hot water heater (cold supply). Sweated three additional fittings. Re-pipe house with new cpvc 3/4" . Supplied 1/2" drops to fixtures, new supply lines, 90 stops, and 1/4 turn new laundry valves. Pipe to well. Two hose bibs, crane butane ring, new main shut off and new hot water heater shut off.
Whole house jet drain restoration with harbon jetter. Run video inspection of lines, locate cleanout in front of house. Reset water closet in downstairs guest bathroom with new wax ring and bolts and toilet supply. After running video inspection, found that main sewer line in cast iron is deteriorated so that the bottom is falling out. Pipe is in bad shape from addition. Ran camera at 58' and found belly in pipe. Pulled toilet and cabled drain with 300 mach. Ran camera, found orange bung sewer. Sewer also has root intrusion and bellys. Reset toilet with new wax ring.
Replace water line from meter to house with 3/4" cpvc approx. 50'. Re-pipe entire house, kitchen, laundry, and one bathroom with new customer supplied shower valve and kitchen sink with two hose bibs with cpvc. Ifindleaks.com located leak in waste arm from kitchen sink approx. 4' from sink at vent stack. Cut sheet rock to expose entire length of waste line approx. 4' to 5' by 4" to 6" in heighth. Remove dual trap system into one trap system using 1 1/2" pipe. Connecting to new waste arm 1 1/2" pvc. Waste to be connected at vent stack.
Installed new ball valve 3/4" with 90 degree and sharkbite coupling. Screwed new hose bib on 3/4 female off t fitting. Unit 73. Remove and drain both water heaters. Replace two main water shut off valves with 3/4" ball valves in both bathrooms behind water heaters. Install two new 3/4" ball valves for water heaters. Main line stoppage. Cabled main line stoppage with mytana m-661 3/8" cable machine through outside clean out to clear solid waste stoppage. Main line takes hard turn under corner of home. Removed old leaking toilet supply line and replaced with new braided line.
Bath tub stoppage in building 7305 unit 122. Cabled bath tub drain with mytana m661 3/8" cable machine through tub drain overflow to clear. Noticed water damage on ceiling and walls around tub and a/c vents. Tenant said leaks occasionally. Recommend leak detection to diagnose leak to prevent further damage. Cabled kitchen sink stoppage with mytana m 661 3/8" cable machine thru outside cleanout to clear stoppage. Due to excessive grease buildup, recommended high pressure drain cleaning/ jetting with harben high pressure drain cleaning technologies. Cut leaking section of 3/4" pvc water supply and repair with pvc fittings and 3/4" pipe. Remove old leaking 3/4" copper gate emergency water shut off and replace with new 3/4" quarter turn ball shut off valve.
Replace two upstairs toilets. One in master bath and the other in main hall bath. Replaced fill valve in lower level half bath toilet. Cabled through kitchen sink waste line to clear blockage. Flushed line with water. Tested good. Camera revealed approx 1" of standing water in waste line from upstairs toilet to vertical drop. Also a back pitched/broken section of pipe was found approx. 20' from exterior of home via clean out. Replaced kenmore disposal with a kenmore 3/4 hp disposal model #60581
Found hot water pipe by the valve broken inside of the wall. Cut access through the sheet rock in the closet to repair the line and replace the valve. Reinstalled the drain and faucet on the lav. Which were installed incorrectly. New kitchen faucet, customer supplied, installed. Supplied customer with drain strainer for garbage disposal. Installed new supply lines and new strainers. Tested, no leaks. Cabled through vent stack to clear. Camera revealed heavy scale and grease buildup. Recommend hydrojet of line to remove buildup under slab. Exterior main in good condition. (recently replaced) Faucet leaking. Attempted to remove seats and washers. Could not find parts. Reassembled and called it quits. Customer will try and find parts or will have valve replaced.
Cass science. Installed 1 1/4" d.c. Back flow device at incoming domestic service as requested. Tested ok. Device is located over ceiling tile and required two technicians. Shut down water to building and moved water supply lines according to specs. Restore pressure and checked all fixtures. Job complete until trim out. Science wing room #308 plumbing demo. Removed cast iron sink. Removed stand and installed new pvc p-trap. Water was shut down and removed old faucet and installed 3/8" shut off valve. Water was turned back on and flushed out the line into p-trap.
Flapper lead broken at flush handle. Replaced flapper in men's restroom toilet. Made adjustment to ball cock to prevent overflow in tank. Hot water heater leaking at bottom. Install new hot water heater. Adjusted height of existing copper lines to correct size for new hot water heater. Replumbed t&p valve drain line to correct height. Ball valve leaking and needs to be replaced (shut off to hot water heater) had to cut copper lines to remove hot water heater.
Leak on second floor 1/2" copper hot line in straze hall. Repaired 1/2" copper pipe. Dug up area around the tree with shovel and found 3/4 schedule 40 pvc main water supply. Cut out large amount of roots which cracked pipe at coupling joint. Removed section of pipe and repaired with schedule 80 pvc and fittings, tested line and found no problems at this time.
